Two brothers Majeed Senior, Majeed Junior. Both Baloch heat in the fire of nationalism. Dream of an independent country. Both are sacrificed for this courage. But the sacrifices of these two brothers do fuel work in the demand of separate Balochistan. Then to face the Pakistani army, Balochistan’s soil flourishes the dreaded fideline squad Majid Brigade. This is the same brigade who has hijacked the Jafar Express going from Quetta to Peshawar.
2 August 1974. Location-Quetta. A young man climbing a tree is waiting for an opportunity. He has a hand grenade in his hand. He is going to blast any moment. The then Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto is on the target of this fideline. Who came to Kwetta to join a procession. The name of this boy was Majeed Senior. Majeed wanted to take revenge on Bhutto.
Majeed Brothers sacrifice and fideline squad story
Bhutto sacked the government of the National Awami Party, who talked about Baloch Haq in Balochistan. Significantly, Balochistan wanted to exist as a separate country since 1947. But then Muhammad Ali Jinnah merged this state into Pakistan on the basis of strength.

The National Awami Party of Balochistan used to fight for the rights and hooks of Baloch. The party wanted Balochistan to get more regional autonomy. Due to the separation of Bangladesh in 1971, his demand gained even more speed.
On the other hand, Bhutto was irritated by Pakistan’s defeat in 1971 and becoming Bangladesh. He was not ready to give anything concession. He always tried to weaken the government of Baloch province. And finally he dismissed the government of the National Awami Party.
So this is the background of Majeed’s story. He wanted to avenge this.
Majeed knew that this operation means his death. But he was not afraid at all. He was waiting for the convoy of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto with a hand grenade in his hand. He had to throw hand grenades. BBC Urdu has said in a report that Majeed lost his life in this operation. His mission could not succeed.
But he had opened the path for the sacrifices. His stories became inspiration in Baloch Movement. Two years after the death of Majeed Senior, another boy was born in his house. Parents named her Majeed Junior.
Majeed Junior was also raised in the same environment. One day the time of sacrifice came. The date was 17 March 2010.
The younger brother also sacrificed after his elder brother
According to the American think tank The Jamestown Foundation, the Pakistani army surrounded a house in Quetta’s Wahdhat Colony. It is said that many rebels were hidden in this house. Seeing surrounded by Majeed, Majeed collided with Pakistani soldiers with junior weapons, he knew that his death was certain, but he continued the fight to give his comrades time to get out of the clutches of Pakistani soldiers. Eventually Majeed Junior was also killed.

Majeed Junior’s death was a major incident of Baloch Movement, when Balochis came to know that Majeed was a senior-oriented brother, he boiled with gums. Majeed brothers got a different status in Baloch folk stories.
In 2011, Tatkalin Baloch leader Aslam Baloch thought of making a suicide squad to give an aggressive and edge to the Baloch movement, then the name that came in front of him was Majeed. Then Majeed Fidine Brigade came into existence. It later works as a branch of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
As the name itself suggests, Majeed is a member of the fideline Brigade means hugging death. This squad carries suicide attacks on Pakistan’s military and business installations.
Majeed Fideline Brigade fights against Balochistan’s resources, especially natural gas and alleged exploitation of minerals. They believe that the Pakistani government and especially Punjabi aristocrats are taking advantage of the resources of Balochistan, while the local Baloch population is not getting the benefit.
Majeed Fideline Brigade, with a rampant attack, made Islamabad sleepless with a rampage.
Majeed Fideline Brigade carried out the first attack in 2011 and took the life of former minister Naseer Mangal. He did this attack from IED. 13 people were killed and many were injured in this. The same brigade attacked the Chinese Embassy in Karachi in November 2018. In May 2019, Majeed Fiadin Brigade attacked the Pearl Continental (PC) hotel located in Gwadar, which is the center of the China-Pakistan economic corridor. Five people were killed in this attack, while three attackers were also killed. After this, Majeed Brigade launched a suicide attack on the Confucius Institute located at Karachi University.
Funding and modern weapons from abroad
The American think tank The Jamestown Foundation writes that the funding of Majeed Brigade is from abroad. Pravasi Baloch, who is living abroad, mainly gives money to this movement. Hawala channel is used for this.
Majeed Fideline Brigade is well equipped and has many high -class weapons which have been used during operation.
These weapons include improvised explosive device (IED), anti-purser and anti-tank mines, grenade, RPG and many types of automatic weapons as well as BM-12, 107mm, 109mm type rockets.
Majeed Fideline Brigade terrorists also have state -of -the -art explosives like C4 to make suicide jackets and are also equipped with M4 rifles.
Fatah squad
Baloch rebels also include the Fatah Brigade and Jeerb Unit of the Balochistan Liberation Army in the incident of train hijacking in Pakistan,
Fatah squad mainly works in the mountainous region of Balochistan. Significantly, where the train has been hijacking, it is a hill place. Fatah is an expert in the squad guerrilla warfare. These squads ambush military convoys and camps.
In 2024, in Operation Herof, the Fatah squad along with other BLA groups carried out 14 blocks on the main roads of Balochistan and killed 62 Pakistani soldiers.
Jirab Units and Special Tectical Operations Squad
BLA works like a professional army. Zeephyr Intelligence Research & Analysis Bureau-Zirab units have to collect intelligence information and execute the attack in Pakistan by implementing it. The characteristic of its activities is to attack high -value targets and derail Pakistani military schemes.
BLA claims that the cities of Balochistan have allegedly established secret branches of Zirab. BLA has claimed that its members have successfully “infiltrated the enemy’s hideout”. And they can carry out the attack anywhere.
