India rayses khalistan issue: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held a meeting on Monday (March 17, 2025) with US intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard. During this time, the issue of Khalistani extremists working against Indian interests on American land was raised. In the conversation, the minister discussed the anti -India activities of Khalistani organization SFJ (Sikh for Justice), which has been banned in the country for working against India’s national security.
Sources told news agency ANI, “India expressed its concern and asked the US administration to take strict action against the illegal organization.” US National Intelligence Director (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard held bilateral discussions with Rajnath Singh, which emphasized promoting defense and security relations between the two countries.
Discussion on defense and safety relations
News agency PTI quoted sources as saying that methods of increasing defense and security relations were discussed during the meeting. After the meeting, Rajnath Singh said, “We were happy to meet the US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard in New Delhi. We discussed many issues including defense and information sharing, which aims to deepen the Indo-US partnership.”
Tulsi Gabbard also met Ajit Doval
Tulsi Gabbard is on a two -and -a -half -day visit to India. Earlier, he also met NSA Ajit Doval. The meeting between Doval and Gabbard discussed mainly to share intelligence information and increase security cooperation. Sikh for Justice (SFJ) is an American organization demanding a separate Sikh state named Khalistan from India. The Government of India banned the SJF under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in 2019. At the same time, it was called a separatist group promoting terrorism and separatist activities.
