Constable Amit Kumar committed suicide on Sunday in Majhola police station area of Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The police found a suicide note from his room, in which he accused the policemen and home guards posted on Dial 112 of harassment. Constable Amit Kumar was admitted in 2016 and was posted in UP 112 PRV in Moradabad. He lived in a rented house in Prakash Nagar, while his wife Santosh and two sons Rishabh and Anshul live in Gajraula.
According to the information, when his door did not open for a long time on Sunday morning and the phone did not get up, the landlord looked through the window. So Amit was hanging from the noose, after which the police and his family were informed. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and started the investigation of the case for postmortem.
Police constable commits suicide
The police found a diary from the deceased’s room, which contained a suicide note. In the note, Amit wrote that his fellow soldiers and home guards posted on Dial 112 were blackmailing him in the case of 40 liters of petrol and threatening departmental action.
Police registered a case and started investigation
On this incident, SP City Ranvijay Singh said that the names of some people have been written in the suicide note, against whom an FIR has been registered. Police say that the case is being investigated seriously, action will be taken against the culprits.
