Weather 18 March: The weather is rapidly turning in March. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR is expected to be 33 degrees Celsius on Tuesday (March 18) and the minimum temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. In the coming days, it can increase to 37 degrees, which will increase the effect of heat.
In Uttar Pradesh, winds are expected to move at a speed of 20-30 km/h in western and eastern parts on Tuesday (March 18). The Meteorological Department says that light rain can also occur in some areas, which will provide some relief from the heat. However, this relief will be temporary as there is a possibility of increasing temperature again.
Snowfall and rain in Himachal Pradesh
The high altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh are continuously taking snowfall, while the rains continue in the lower areas. According to the Meteorological Department report, the state has recorded 21% more rainfall than normal so far. For the next few days, there is expected of intermittent rain in Himachal, due to which the effect of cold will remain.
Lu situation in Odisha, red alert issued
The heat in Odisha has reached its peak. The temperature in the Buddhist city has reached 43 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued red warning for Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Kalahandi districts. However, from Budhwar (March 19), there is a possibility of rain in the state with thunderstorms, which can provide some relief to the people.
Impact of intense heat in Bihar-Jharkhand
In Bihar, in March itself, the heat of June has started to feel like June. The maximum temperature remains between 30 and 35 degrees and soon it can reach 40 degrees. The temperature in seven districts of Jharkhand was recorded more than 40 degrees, due to which the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert here. Due to western disturbances, some areas may be cloudy, but the chances of rain are less.
Danger of heatwave in Telangana too
There is a possibility of heat stroke in Telangana for the next few days. Especially in the northern districts, the temperature can reach 44 degrees. According to IMD, there will be no specific drop in temperature in the near future. The hope of getting relief from the heat is currently low.
