SMS Hospital’s doctor Rakesh Jain told – 28 year old Lalaram was 60 percent burnt. He was put on ventilator. He died this morning. Even now 20 seriously burnt patients are undergoing treatment in the burn ward of SMS Hospital. Of these patients, 3 are on ventilator. Lalaram’s body has been kept in the mortuary of SMS Hospital. The body will be handed over to the relatives after the postmortem is conducted by the medical board.
The process of deaths is not stopping The series of deaths of accident victims on Jaipur-Ajmer highway is not showing any signs of stopping. Three patients died on Wednesday (25 December) and 2 on Tuesday (24 December) during treatment at SMS Hospital. 3 patients were discharged from the hospital on 23 December and 2 on 24 December. On December 25, at around 4 am, Vijita Meena (22), resident of Pratapgarh (Rajasthan) and Vijendra (36), resident of Bhuribaraj, Pavata (Jaipur), died at around 9.30 am. After this, the injured Banshilal (35), resident of Bhilwara, also died around 1 pm. Vijeta and Vijendra suffered 70-70 percent burns respectively. On December 24 also, two people died. This includes Naresh Babu of Etah (UP) and Yusuf of Nuh (Haryana).
On the morning of 20 December, the Jaipur-Ajmer highway was burning like this. About 40 vehicles were caught in the fire.
4 were burnt alive on the highway, 9 died in the hospital the same day. In the accident that took place on December 20 at Bhankrota (near DPS) on Ajmer Road, Jaipur, 4 people were burnt alive on the spot. 8 people died during treatment at Sawai Mansingh Hospital on the same day. 1 death occurred in Jaipuria Hospital.
The gas released from the tanker became a ball of fire and spread on the highway. Jaiveer Singh (LPG tanker driver) told the police that he was alone in the tanker during the accident. Without wasting any time I started running. The gas released from the tanker became a ball of fire and started spreading on the road. By then I had reached the ring road. I called and informed the truck owner Anil Kumar about the incident. After this the mobile was switched off.
The vehicles burnt in the accident were removed from the spot with the help of a crane.
40 vehicles and factory were on fire The fire spread so fast that more than 40 vehicles were affected. A sleeper bus running just behind the tanker and a pipe factory located on the side of the highway were also burnt. Due to the accident, the door of the bus got stuck to a truck. Due to this, the 34 people traveling in it did not find any place to get out. With great difficulty people were taken out from the driver’s gate. After the fire was extinguished, many bodies were put in bags and taken to the hospital.

After the accident, rescue teams collected the bodies trapped in the vehicles in clothes, bags and bundles.
Rescue teams saved a tanker from bursting by pouring water on it at the spot.

Heaps of such clothes were found around the spot. After burning, people somehow took off their clothes and threw them away.
