Lava Preparing to Launch New Smartphone With 50-Megapixel Primary Camera, AI Features

Lava, one of the big smartphone companies, is preparing to launch a new smartphone soon. The company has given the teaser of this smartphone. It will have a 50 megapixel primary camera. Features related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) can also be found in this smartphone.

One on social media platform Post Lava has given the teaser of the smartphone. The company has indicated its soon launch. However, information about its model or launch date has not been given. This smartphone has a hole-punch slot for the front camera above the display. The new smartphone will have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with AI features. It may have a rectangular rear camera module. A circular LED flash unit can be provided in this smartphone.

Recently the company introduced Blaze Duo 5G. This smartphone has a dual display. The price of its 6 GB + 128 GB variant is Rs 16,999. This smartphone has a 6.67 inch 3D curved AMOLED main display and 1.58 inch AMOLED secondary display. It has MediaTek Dimensity 7025 as its processor. This smartphone has a 64 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel secondary camera. Its front has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The Blaze Duo’s 5,000 mAh battery supports 33 W fast charging.

This smartphone has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Its weight is approximately 186 grams. Blaze Duo can be purchased in blue and white colors. Lava’s Agni series has received good response from customers. The company has launched three smartphones in this series. Shipments of 5G smartphones in the country have increased by 60 percent in the first half of this year as compared to the same quarter last year. Most of the smartphone companies have launched new handsets in this segment. International shipments of 5G smartphones in the first half grew by nearly 20 percent on a year-on-year basis. With this, the share of 5G devices in all shipments of smartphones has increased to more than 50 percent.
