Telugu Rock Inscription Found in Telangana: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had discovered the treasures of inscriptions and rock art in Andhra Pradesh. Exactly after that, the Archaeological Survey of India has found Telugu inscriptions of 1517 AD in some parts of Telangana.
The Archaeological Survey of India found inscriptions at Narasimhulgutta in Anantagiri in Rajanna Sirsila district. Officials said that this inscription praises various local Hindu deities and mentions the construction of the Vishnu temple on the top of a hill in Anantagiri. Earlier this year, inscriptions were found in Lankamala Reserve Forest in Andhra Pradesh 800 to 2000 years old.
Shell art of Mahapashan period was found
The survey of the Archaeological Survey of India also found the rock art of the Mahapashan period. It was described as the biggest archaeological discovery of recent times. Three features were found in this survey. Officials said that one of them had amazing prehistoric paintings depicting animals, geometric patterns and human figures. These paintings of the Mangalithic (Iron Age) and the early historical period (2500 BCE (2500 BCE) were made using natural materials such as red ocher, kolin, animal fat and crushed bones.
Three inscriptions of the Chalukya period were also found
Telangana has a legacy of inscriptions on rocks, which reflect its history. Last year, an ASI team found three inscriptions of the Chalukya period in Kankal village of Vikarabad. The oldest known inscription in Telugu in the state is Saffron Gutta inscription, which is 420 AD. There is also an inscription of Bommalgutta inscription in Karimnagar and an inscription of the 9th century in Warangal.
