Narendra Modi reached the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur for the first time on Sunday (30 March), 11 years after being held as Prime Minister. PM Modi is the second Prime Minister to visit the RSS headquarters in Nagpur. RSS leader Suresh Bhaiyaji Joshi has also given his response when PM Modi came to headquarters. He said that it was nice to the arrival of PM Modi. Asked whether there is any distance between RSS and PM Modi, he made it clear that there is no distance between the two.
Suresh Bhaiyaji Joshi said that PM Modi does good work beforehand. It was nice to his arrival. He said that PM Modi has no distance from the Sangh. Earlier, PM Modi, who reached the RSS headquarters on Sunday, visited Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Mandir and paid tribute to the founders of the Sangh. PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of Nemadhav Netralaya Premium Center, which is a new expansion building of Madhav Netralaya Eye Institute and Research Center. This building is named after Madhavrao Golwalkar, who was the head of RSS.

PM Modi said this about RSS
After laying the foundation stone of ‘Madhav Netralaya Premium Center’, Prime Minister Modi said, “RSS volunteers are working selflessly in different regions and parts of the country.” He said, “RSS is the vat tree of immortal culture and modernization of India, whose ideals and principles are to protect national consciousness.”
PM Modi said that the spirit of service motivates the generations of RSS volunteers for tireless hard work. He said that this dedication keeps the volunteers continuously active and never lets them get tired or stayed. He appreciated the ‘exemplary work’ of the RSS volunteers during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj where he assisted millions of people through the Eye Kumbh initiative. He said that wherever service is required, volunteers are present.
