‘Two-thirds of the country’s population in favor of Hindu nation …’, Mani Shankar Iyer’s big statement

Senior Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar gave a big statement while talking to news agency IANS on Monday. He said that despite the politics of hate, two-thirds of the country’s population is not in favor of the Hindu nation.

Along with this, Mani Shankar Aiyar said that India is a country where everyone is welcomed with an open heart and everyone is hugged. One should live with harmony with each other.

‘hate being spread in the country’, said Iyer

Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar said that I congratulate Muslim brothers and sisters living in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Asian countries and other countries Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Britain or America. I am speaking to India where the land welcomes everyone. Everyone should stay happily in this country, everyone should be with peace with each other and one should learn a lot from each other. There is no need for any hatred on this, hatred is being spread in the country. But, despite this, two-thirds Hindustani, of which at least 50 percent of Hindus are Hindus, who have not supported the political powers that this country should ever be made a Hindu nation.

He said that this is a secular country and everyone lives here together. Today, on the occasion of Eid, I want to convey the message to all Muslim brothers and the Muslim community of India that I was given the opportunity to say this.

raised questions on Rajiv Gandhi’s educational qualification

Earlier, the video of Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar went viral on social media, in which he said while questioning the educational qualification of former PM and Congress leader Rajiv Gandhi, saying, "Everyone knows the name of Indira Gandhi. When Rajiv Gandhi (Prime Minister) became, people thought and I myself thought that they are airline pilots. Has failed twice."

He further said, "I had studied with him at Cambridge University. He (Rajiv) has failed at Cambridge University. It is very difficult to fail at Cambridge University. It is easy to pass the first division there. But, it is very difficult to fail there because the university tries to maintain its image to pass at least. But despite this, Rajiv Gandhi failed. Then he went to Imperial College of London, there failed there again. I thought what such a person had to become Prime Minister."
