Bhagwat was delivering a speech on the role of teachers in the 21st century on the occasion of the 70th foundation day of Somalwar Education Society.
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat said at a program in Nagpur on Thursday that the British hid the truth and filled many lies in our minds. He had said that the people seen in India have come from outside.
The British had spread the lie that the people coming from outside were driven away into the forest by the Dravidians. Then came the Aryans, who fought with the Dravidians and drove the Dravidians back. This is a lie spread by the British.
Bhagwat was delivering a speech on the role of teachers in the 21st century on the occasion of the 70th foundation day of Somalwar Education Society. During this he said – The British say that someone came from outside, beat up the people here and became the king himself. According to him, ruling is not in the blood of the people of this country.
Bhagwat said that the British were as if they had come to live in a Dharamshala. The entire world has rejected this theory. Now no one believes in this, but the people of our country are not able to understand this.
Bhagwat said- British rulers wanted to forget India’s heritage… 7 points
- In 1857, the British rulers realized that despite fighting amongst themselves over castes, sects, languages, geographical disparities, the people of India would remain united until they drove out the foreign invaders from the country.
- The RSS chief said that the British rulers decided to do something which would destroy the united nature of Indians and ensure that the British rule would continue forever.
- Their aim was to make the Indians forget the history, ancestors and glorious heritage of India. For this purpose the British changed the facts and planted many lies in our minds.
- Teachers will continue to play a very important role in the 21st century even in the era of AI. The present generation is exposed to a lot of knowledge because of technology, but teachers can change lives. Seeing and observing means learning. He said that teachers have the power to change lives. Technology comes and goes.
- With intelligence becoming artificial, the role of teachers and education has become important. Gandhi used to say that science without morality is a sin. Advances in technology will help humans perform increasingly precise tasks, but it must be used effectively.
- Sometimes lies are spread in the guise of knowledge and facts are distorted in the guise of history. We always have to investigate knowledge and then assimilate it. The role of books has almost ended. Google has knowledge of the whole world.
- Wisdom is needed to know how to use knowledge. This will be the role of teachers in the 21st century. The aim of education is to make a human being. A palm tree is very tall but what is the use of it if it does not provide shade. A great person is one who is useful to others.
