Pakistan Army News: Pakistan Army on Friday (December 27) alleged that India violated the Line of Control 25 times in the past year. It threatened that if the Indian Army attacks, it will give immediate reply. Army spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary made these allegations in the year-end press conference. However, he did not give any detailed information in support of these allegations. The spokesperson said that security forces killed at least 925 terrorists in 2024 and lost 383 of their personnel in about 60,000 operations.
Pakistan’s army is mainly fighting terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. The officer claimed that India violated the Line of Control 25 times and carried out ‘false flag operations’ several times. The term ‘false flag operation’ is used to refer to a fake military action so that responsibility can be shifted to the other side. The spokesperson claimed that such operations are always announced through fake social media accounts, which were linked to India’s foreign intelligence agency ‘RAW’ (Research and Analysis Wing). India has the capability to give a decisive response to any hostile action.
Allegations made regarding Jammu and Kashmir
Lieutenant General Chaudhary has made the allegation in indirect reference to Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the Indian Army is adopting brutal tactics to suppress the activities conducted for independence. India repeatedly accuses Pakistan of promoting terrorism. The Pakistan Army spokesperson also accused the Indian government of targeting minorities, including Sikhs, both within its borders and abroad. Chaudhary said that the number of terrorists killed by the country’s security forces in 2024 was the highest in the last five years. He said that around 170 operations are being conducted daily, which has helped in foiling many terrorist attempts. He said that a huge quantity of weapons have also been recovered in these operations.
Pakistani army blames TTP
The Pakistani army spokesperson accused the Afghan Taliban regime of protecting terrorists, especially those belonging to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He urged Afghan authorities to deal with the issue by preventing insurgents from using their soil. He said, “Afghan soil is being used by TTP terrorists. People who carry out terrorist acts in Pakistan go to the hideouts of terrorists in Afghanistan. Choudhary said that the ‘one-document’ system has been implemented for those crossing the border from Afghanistan and there has been a reduction in illegal border crossings. Has come.
