A large-scale search operation has been going on in the forest area of ​​Kathua district since 23 March after the police and other security forces infiltrated from across the international border in the international border. Four policemen were killed in a fierce encounter for two days on March 27 in the district, while two terrorists were killed.

Home Minister will meet the families of the martyrs

Amit Shah will later meet family members of the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir Police at Raj Bhavan in Jammu and will also hand over appointment letters to some selected people on compassionate grounds. This is the first visit to the Union Territory of Shah after the formation of the National Conference Government in October last year. The Union Home Minister will take stock of various development works in the Union Territory in a meeting held at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar on Tuesday. Officials said that after this he will attend another meeting at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar. The security situation in Jammu and Kashmir will be reviewed during the meeting.
