A case of assault on an army officer has come to light in Kerala. According to reports, some local leaders assaulted an Army officer over food poisoning during an NCC training camp at KMM College of Arts and Science in Thrikkakara.
According to reports, 80 cadets attending the camp showed symptoms of vomiting and food poisoning. After this, on December 23 at around 11:30 pm, two people attacked a uniformed officer on duty.
These people beat and pushed the army officer. However, the military officer kept protecting himself during this period.
The allegation of assault is on CPI(M) students wing SFI district head Bhagya Lakshmi, local BJP councilor Pramod and their supporters. Police have arrested two people.
