The Defense Minister said, “Today, conflicts are going on in many places in the world. At the same time, the possibility of conflict is also being seen in many new places. There is an atmosphere of uncertainty all around. International relations are also changing rapidly. Radical changes are also being seen in the methods of war.” He said that in today’s ever-changing times, mastering cutting-edge technologies is the need of the hour and military training centers are playing an important role in preparing our soldiers to meet the challenges of the future.
‘The foundation has to be laid for building a developed India’
The Defense Minister further said, “There is a huge responsibility on your young and strong shoulders. On the one hand, you have to handle the burden of our borders, on the other hand, you also have to lay the foundation for building a developed India. I am sure that you have an iron-clad resolve.” These strong shoulders will bear the burden of building this nation very easily. My best wishes are with all of you.”
What did the Defense Minister say about Mhow Cantonment?
He said that our government is continuously making efforts in this direction to increase integration and jointness among the three armies, because in the times to come, we are going to face such challenges which our services can face better by working together. ‘Aim to create a developed nation by 2047’
Rajnath Singh said, “The Prime Minister has set a target of making the country a developed nation by 2047 and I consider the current time as a transition period. India is continuously moving on the path of development, military From this point of view, we are continuously equipping our armies with modern weapons, but we are also sending the equipment made in the country to other countries.
‘Economic prosperity and security complement each other’
He further said, “India is rapidly emerging as a manufacturing hub. About a decade ago, our defense exports used to be around Rs 2,000 crores. Due to the efforts of the government, today it has crossed the figure of Rs 21,000 crores. We have set an export target of Rs 50,000 crore by the year 2029. If you look at any big and developed country, it will be based on their development. There was economic prosperity and when they became economically prosperous, behind it they had a strong security system, that is, economic prosperity and security both complement each other.
In his address, the Defense Minister encouraged the army soldiers and said that I have full confidence that India will move forward very strongly on the basis of your willpower, commitment, dedication and spirit. And by 2047, we will not only become a developed nation, but our army will also be the most sophisticated and strongest army in the world.
