New Delhi. The Indian team has lagged behind in the series against Australia after losing the Melbourne Test. At one time, Team India seemed to be drawing this match easily but one decision changed the entire match. The controversial decision of the third umpire ended the fighting innings of Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. On one hand, many veterans and cricket experts believe that Yashasvi was not out but Bangladesh umpire Sharafuddaula Saikal declared him out.
The Indian team, which was in the race for the ICC World Test Championship final, wanted to keep its hopes alive by drawing the Boxing Day Test but it got a shock. On the last day of the fourth match, India lost 7 wickets in the last session and Australia won the match by a margin of 184 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who came to start the innings, was batting strongly at one end but he had to become the victim of a controversial decision.
