BPSC Students Protest: After the pictures of police behavior with students from Bihar’s capital Patna have surfaced, the country is asking the question that why did Chief Minister Nitish Kumar feel the need to be so cruel? Opposition parties are asking whether the students were asking for a piece of the moon and were subjected to more brutality than during the Emergency?
Questions are being asked on the silence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. It is clearly visible in the pictures that the students were joining hands in front of the police and the lathis were not stopping. This is not the first time, only in the month of December, BPSC students have been lathicharged thrice.
Opposition is raising questions
The opposition is asking Chief Minister Nitish Kumar why is your police treating a student like a terrorist? Why did Nitish Kumar feel the need to shower water on the students in the capital Patna at around 8 pm on Sunday night when they were sitting on a dharna despite being shivering from the cold? During this period, many students also suffered serious injuries.
Know what is the whole matter
Bihar Public Service Commission examination was held on 13 December. There were allegations of irregularities at Bapu Examination Centre, the largest examination center in Bihar. The examination here was canceled and now the examination of 12 thousand students will be held again at Bapu Examination Center. 912 centers were made for the examination in Bihar. After this, students in Gardnibagh, Patna are demanding cancellation of the entire examination.
Students raised this demand
Students say that there should be re-exams. There will be an exam again. At this time the government is scared, that is why they are being stopped. What troublemakers are we? We have been on hunger strike for 12 days and nothing has happened yet. Students allege that merely canceling the examination of Bapu Examination Center will not work. There has been a disturbance in entire Bihar, hence the entire exam should be cancelled. Apart from this, BPSC Chairman should be removed.
Accused of political conspiracy
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has not yet given any statement regarding the brutality against the students. At the same time, Neeraj Kumar has called it a political conspiracy. He said that there is a political conspiracy behind this movement. Many people are not able to digest this politically that they are getting jobs without giving land.
RJD became the attacker
Lalu Yadav’s party is directly cornering CM Nitish Kumar by accusing him of Emergency-like barbarity. Tejashwi Yadav has also come forward to corner Nitish. Tejashwi is asking that students are being lathicharged but there is no trace of CM Nitish?
State government is silent
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has not yet given any statement regarding the demands of the students. Apart from them, Samrat Chaudhary and Deputy CM Vijay Sinha have also not given any statement on this issue. The state education minister is ready to talk on political issues, but he too has not yet made any concrete comment on this issue.
Prashant Kishore made serious allegations
Meanwhile, Prashant Kishore has alleged that the students who had reached the hospital for treatment after the lathi charge, were removed from their beds and made to lie on the ground. This is the reason why the entire opposition is attacking Nitish Kumar. From Patna to the country’s capital Delhi, there are demands for the resignation of CM Nitish. Despite this, CM Nitish Kumar is not saying anything.
