Afghan Taliban fighters are continuously attacking Pakistani posts after crossing the Durand Line. During this time, the claim of capturing a Pakistani post by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) also came to light.
In a video viral on social media, TTP fighters were seen celebrating at the Pakistani post and removing the Pakistani flag and installing their own flag. However, a senior Pakistani Army officer claimed that this post had been evacuated before the attack.

Tension between TTP and Pakistani Army
The army had strategically shifted troops to other places in Bajaur, North Waziristan, and South Waziristan. Despite this claim, TTP’s capture and viral video have raised questions on the army’s strategy. Meanwhile, the tension between TTP and Pakistani Army increased further when TTP killed 30 Pakistani Army soldiers in Makin area of ​​Waziristan.
In response to this, Pakistan tried to give a strong message to the Taliban by conducting air strikes, but the geographical and military strength of the Taliban is posing a tough challenge to the Pakistani Army. If we talk about the strength of Taliban, then Taliban has 1.5 lakh active fighters and a huge stock of modern weapons.
