Dubai. India’s star spinner Deepti Sharma has made it to the top 5 in the ICC rankings. The spinner had bowled amazingly in the recent ODI series played against West Indies. Due to this brilliant performance, she has moved up one place to fifth position in the ICC women’s ODI bowling rankings. Deepti, who made it to the top five, now has 665 rating points and is 12 points behind Marizanne Kapp of South Africa who is in fourth place.

27 year old Deepti had taken eight wickets in two matches against West Indies. In the last match, he broke the back of the opposing team’s batting by taking six wickets for 31 runs. India made a clean sweep of West Indies by winning this ODI series 3-0 in Vadodara.

Talking about the ranking of batsmen, Jemimah Rodrigues is close to making it to the top 20 with 537 points.
