Road Accident in South Sindh Pakistan: A tragic road accident occurred on Monday (30 December) night in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province, in which a total of 12 people died. Among those killed, 8 were members of the same family. This horrific accident happened after a collision between a passenger bus and a trailer near Moro on the national highway in Pakistan.
The passengers in the bus were a wedding procession, who were returning from Hyderabad. Giving information about the incident, Deputy Commissioner Arslan Salim said that about 20 people were traveling in the bus. Out of which a total of 12 people died. A young girl was seriously injured in this accident. Who died during treatment in a hospital in Karachi on Tuesday (31 December) morning.
8 people killed were from the family of a prominent doctor
Deputy Commissioner Arslan Salim said, “The eight people killed in this accident were from the family of a prominent doctor. This accident happened on the National Highway when the bus was moving at high speed and during this time the trailer hit the bus. “After the accident, the driver of the trailer fled from the spot, which created many difficulties in the investigation of the road accident.”
Five injured were sent to Nawabshah and Karachi for better treatment.
A doctor at the government hospital in Moro said, “The condition of the five injured was critical and they have been sent to Nawabshah and Karachi for better treatment.” This accident on the national highway highlights the state of road safety in Pakistan, where road accidents have become common. The number of road accidents is increasing here due to careless driving, poor condition vehicles, damaged roads and untrained drivers. In such a situation, there is a need to take strict steps regarding road safety in Pakistan.
