Under the captaincy of Shardul Thakur, Mumbai defeated the opposition team for 73 runs and won the match by 9 wickets. In this match, Mumbai won the toss and decided to bowl first and Arunachal Pradesh team was reduced to just 73 runs in 32.2 overs. Mumbai achieved this target by losing one wicket in just 5.3 overs.
Talking about bowling in this match, for Mumbai, Shardul Thakur, Harsh Tanna, Himanshu Singh and Atharva Ankolkar took 2 wickets each, while Reston Dias and Shreyansh Shedge took one wicket each. Talking about Arunachal Pradesh’s batting, only Yav Nia who scored 17 runs and Teji Doria who scored 13 runs could reach double digits. Apart from this, no batsman could even reach 10 runs.
Opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi gave a bright start to the Mumbai team who came to pitch for the target and he scored 50 runs in just 18 balls with the help of 9 fours and 1 six. The other opener batsman Ayush Mahatre played an inning of 15 runs in 11 balls. Apart from this, Hardik Tamore scored unbeaten 7 runs in 4 balls and won with Angkrish.
