Six people, including two minors, were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder of two people over a dispute over drinking alcohol in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The accused have been identified as Kham Singh Sahu (47), Durgesh (23), Ivan Kumar (18), Dalendra Sahu (18) and two 16-17 year old boys.
According to the information, the heads of Krishna Yadav (27) and Sachin Badole (29) were found crushed with stones on the roadside in the early hours of Tuesday. The deceased and the accused were residents of Changorabhata area of ​​DD Nagar police station area. The accused were sitting near the bonfire at Kala Putla Chowk in the city on Monday night. Krishna and Sachin were drinking alcohol nearby.
A police officer said that the accused had asked them not to drink alcohol there. There was a fight between them and in anger they attacked Krishna and Sachin with stones on their heads. After receiving information about this incident, police reached the spot. Took both of them to the nearest hospital.
Doctors declared both of them dead in the hospital. In this case, the police have registered a case against the accused under section 103 (2) (murder) of the Indian Justice Code. The police have also seized the stone used in the crime. The accused are being interrogated in police custody.
