The Indian cricket team will play its first match of 2025 with Australia. This match will be played in Sydney from 3 January. This is the fifth and last match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy Test series. Australia is leading 2-1 after 4 test matches played so far. India will try to level the series by registering a win in Sydney.
Which team will compete after Australia?
After Australia, the Indian team will play a series with England. The England team will come to India around 15 January. A 5-match T20 and ODI series will be played between India and England from 22 January to 12 February. Both the teams will play T20 series first. After this, ODI matches will be played on 6, 9 and 12 February. In this way, India will play 9 matches within the first 50 days of 2025. If the Test match lasts for 5 days, then the Indian team will be on the field for 13 days between January 1 and February 19.
Champions Trophy from 19th February…
The biggest cricket tournament of the year 2015 is the ICC Champions Trophy. This tournament will be played in Pakistan and UAE from 19th February. India will play all its matches in UAE. India will start its campaign in the Champions Trophy with a match against Bangladesh on 20 February.
