Jitan ram manjhi on caste census: The Central Government has decided to conduct caste census in the country in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday (April 30, 2025). After the Modi cabinet’s decision to conduct caste census, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has targeted the opposition leaders, giving his first reaction.
Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has posted a post on social media platform X regarding this decision of the central government. The Union Minister has praised this decision of the central government in his post. He said, “The decision to conduct caste census in the coming time by the Union Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is historic and extremely welcome.”
Union minister targeted opposition leaders
Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi also targeted the opposition parties over the decision of the Center for the caste census. He said, “This decision of the Central Government is also a lesson for those leaders who kept on raising the raga of ethnic census a lot, but did not do anything about it even after being in power for decades.”

He further said in his post, “Those who used to do politics day and night on the issue of caste census by doubting the intention of the Modi government, it will be very interesting to see which new maneuver will now be adopted.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced the decision of the government
It is noteworthy that on Wednesday (April 30), the Central Government called a cabinet meeting. In this meeting, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said during briefing that the government has decided to conduct caste census in the country. During this, the Railway Minister targeted the Congress governments fiercely. He said that Congress governments have opposed caste census in the country. Since 1947, there has never been a caste Jananga in the country till date.
