The major shopping and cultural center of the national capital Delhi was stirred by a fire at Delhi Haat on Wednesday night. The fire was reported to the fire department at 8:55 pm at the Delhi Haat at INA, after which 13 fire engines were sent on the spot. After hard work, the fire has now been completely controlled.
According to the fire department, the fire had engulfed many shops. However, no casualties have been reported so far, which is a matter of relief. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated, but primarily a short circuit is being feared.
Teams of fire department and local administration are still present at the scene and are taking stock of the situation. The administration has currently evacuated Delhi Haat as a precautionary measure and damaged shops are being assessed. The administration has appealed to the people to avoid rumors and trust official sources for necessary information.

The second is in Delhi Haat Pitampura, which is located near Netaji Subhash Palace. This Haat is mainly convenient for the residents of North-West Delhi and there is a glut of handicrafts and cultural activities here too. The nearby metro station is Netaji Subhash Palace (Red Line).
The third and relatively New Delhi is located in Hat Janakpuri, which is near Janakpuri West Metro Station (Blue Line). This is made for the people of Haat West Delhi and traditional handicrafts, food and cultural programs are also organized here.
