There has been a major technical flaw in the cars of Volkswagen and Skoda. Due to which Skoda Kilec, Kushak and Slavia cars have been ordered back. On the other hand, the same problem has been seen in Fauxwagen’s Tigun and Warts. Due to which Volkswagen has also recalled both these cars. According to the data of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), these technical problems have been seen in the med-in-India cars of these two companies.
According to SIAM’s data, the cars manufactured in India between 24 April 2024 to 1 April 2025 have been recalled by SIAM’s data. It is being told that some problems have come to light in the seatbelt given in the rear of these cars. This has been recalled to fix it.
These cars of Skoda were brought back:
Skoda recently launched its cheapest car Kylaq in the Indian market. According to SIAM data, 25,722 units of Skoda have been returned. Which includes Kylack, Kushak and Slavia. It was found that in the event of a collision from the front, “the back seatbelt’s buckle latch plate may break, or/and the back center seatbelt assembly webling and the back seatbelt may be spoiled”. This may threaten the safety of passengers sitting on the back seat.

The same problem has been seen in Volkswagen’s Tigun SUV and Vertas sedan. A total of 21,513 cars of Volkswagen have been affected in this recall, which have been ordered back. That is, about 47,235 units of trains have been recalled to the number of cars of both companies.
