New Delhi. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14 -year -old youth of Bihar, who came out playing for Rajasthan Royless, created history against Gujarat Titans on Monday. On just 35 balls, a century was created in the cricket world. This Lal of Bihar hit seven fours and 11 sixes in his innings. Now Vaibhav has become Indians to score the fastest century in the history of the tournament. After the defeat, Gujarat captain Shubman Gill called it a lucky day of Vaibhav, on which former Indian captain Ajay Jadeja was enraged.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s first IPL century achieved the huge target of 210 runs by losing two wickets in just 15.5 overs, this victory increased the expectations of the team to make a qualified place in the playoffs. After Suryavanshi’s record -breaking innings, Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill described it as “lucky day”.
Talking to the host broadcaster after the match, Gill said, “This was his (lucky) day. His hitting was tremendous and he took full advantage of his day.” Gill’s former Indian batsman and now commentator Ajay Jadeja got angry and he strongly criticized the 25 -year -old Gill’s statement.
Talking on Jio Hotstar, Jadeja said, “Some players on TV are telling Vaibhav’s century just one day. Believing a 14 -year -old child and then taking the match so far on his own trust, not making a comeback, even if you know this, but still you are saying that some players are saying that some players were saying that the luxury was not right.
He further said, “We all dreamed of playing cricket at the age of 14-15 years and imagined such innings… but this young man went there and realized that dream. His strength, his timing, his restraint, this is amazed. This is surprised.
