The Tata Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle (QRFV) is a four wheel drive (4×4) vehicle. Which has been designed by Tata Motors Defense Solutions for the army, paramilitary and police forces. This vehicle is also designed for anti-terrorism campaigns as well as escort and patrol missions. This vehicle plays an important role in increasing the war capacity of the army under all seasons and circumstances.
There is a seating arrangement of 14 people including driver, commander and 12 soldiers. This armored vehicle also provides protection from IED blasts ranging from 14 to 21 kg. The length of this MPV is 6.58 meters and the width is 2.60 meters. Weighing a total of 14.3 tonnes, this vehicle can bear a burden of up to 1,400 kg. There is a facility to firing from all the windows. Tata’s Nova Integrated Systems, along with the Israeli Aerospace Industries, has imposed a mini plug-in optronic payload (minipop) electro-optic (EO) system and Advanced Navigation System (Adnav) on this vehicle. There is also a machine-gun on its roof, which breaks down as havoc on the enemies.
