Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has once again targeted Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi. This time he made serious allegations and said that his children are not Indian citizens.
Himant Biswa Sarma on Friday (May 2, 2025) while speaking to the news agency ANI claimed that Gaurav Gogoi’s son and daughter are not an Indian citizen. He also said that we are investigating what he had gone to Pakistan and what they did by staying in Pakistan for 15 days?
‘There is no tourism place in Pakistan, only the base of terrorists’
Himanta Biswa Sarma targeted Gaurav Gogoi’s visit to Pakistan and said that there is no tourism place there, but only terrorists in Pakistan. He further said that it is 100 percent confirmed that Gaurav Gogoi went to Pakistan, but what did you do for 15 days there? Also said that both Robert Vadra and Gaurav Gogoi are more concerned about Pakistan than India.

This statement of Himanta Biswa Sarma came a day after his X post. On May 1, he posted and said that I am saying with full responsibility that the minor children of an MP of Assam are no longer citizens of India. this is only the beginning. There is still a lot to be revealed. So far, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has not given any statement about these serious allegations made by the Chief Minister of Assam.
The Chief Minister of Assam raised many questions about Gaurav Gogoi and his family 5 days ago. He posted on X and said that I have some questions for the Honorable MP of the Congress Party-
1. Did you go to Pakistan for 15 consecutive days? If yes, please explain the purpose of your journey? ‘
2. ‘Is it true that your wife keeps getting salary from an NGO in Pakistan while living in India and working? If yes, can we ask why an organization based in Pakistan is paying salary for activities organized in India? ‘
3. What is the status of citizenship of your wife and your two children? Are they Indian citizens, or do they have citizenship of any other country?
After this, many more questions will be asked.
