The latest example of how deep the roots of corruption are in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh were seen in Baberu Tehsil. Here a farmer had to go round the revenue inspector (Kanungo) for three months to make his land measure. The case is of the farmer Awadhesh son Radheshyam, a resident of Dhausad village, who cultivates his family and raises his family.
According to the information, the farmer wanted to measure his land due to the land dispute with his neighbor. Under government instructions, the revenue department should have taken action on the complaint of the farmer, but the revenue inspector sought a bribe of 8 thousand rupees to work. On the refusal of the farmer, the inspector deliberately ran him for months and he was not heard.

Desperate, the farmer decided to fight corruption and directly approached the Anti Corruption Team. On the complaint of the farmer, the Anti Corruption Team laid a trap and during the trap operation, the revenue inspector was arrested, taking a bribe of 8 thousand rupees. After this, he was taken to the police station and a case was filed and sent to jail.
This action warns for corrupt officials
Rakesh Singh, in -charge of the Anti Corruption Team, confirmed that as soon as the complaint was received, the team took quick action and caught the accused inspector. At present, further legal process is going on. Farmer Awadhesh says that now he has got justice. This action can prove to be a warning for corrupt officials.
