New Delhi. 15 year old child has broken Sourav Ganguly’s record. When this budding cricketer named Ankit Chatterjee hit a cover drive, he remembered Sourav Ganguly. In his debut match of Ranji Trophy, he opened his account by hitting a brilliant cover drive against Haryana’s experienced fast bowler Anshul Kamboj. The teenage left-handed batsman became the youngest player to play Ranji for the state, surpassing former India captain Ganguly. Ankit made his Ranji debut at the age of 15 years and 361 days while Ganguly played his first match for Bengal at the age of 17 in 1989-90.
