The Indian Embassy has removed many students from Tehran to safe place, but this also cannot be considered completely safe. Kashif said, “We were brought to Kumbh City at 7-8 pm on June 16, but this is also not completely safe.” Air travel is not possible due to the airspace closure in Iran and students have been advised to leave the country by road via Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan or Afghanistan. However, no clear instructions have been received from the Indian embassy yet.

What help is getting from Indian Embassy?
Indian Embassy is helping Indian students trapped in Iran. Removed from Tehran to Kumbh City has been brought to the safe place and has made arrangements for food and drink here. Students have been advised to stay in metro stations such as underground shelters, which have been kept open for 24 hours. The university administration and the Iranian government have issued advice for the safety of the students, but no concrete steps have been taken regarding the process of releasing the battle sector.

Some students were taken out of Armenia, will reach Delhi soon
Some students of Urmoia University located in West Azerbaijan province of Iran have been evacuated via the Armenia border, and are expected to reach Delhi. But no such arrangements have been made for students trapped in Tehran and other cities.

Kashif and his fellow students have requested the Government of India to get out of here. He said, “We have been brought to Kumbh City, but there is a danger in the whole of Iran. We want us to bring us to a safe India as well as the students of Uromia were evacuated.” Students say that due to lack of internet and connectivity, it is also difficult to contact their families, due to which their families in India are upset.
