The 24 -year -old Indian woman Simran, who went to decide her marriage in America, has gone missing. Simran was last seen shortly after coming to New Jersey from India on 20 June. Lindnwold police of New Jersey said that in CCTV footage it was seen that Simran was repeatedly watching his phone and waiting for someone. Simran’s disappearance was reported on Wednesday (June 25) 5 days after his arrival in America.
Officials looking for Simran said that Simran had come to America due to his arranged marriage case. According to the NY Post, the officials are now investigating whether Simran came to New Jersey regarding the arranged marriage or was to visit America.
Simran had an international phone
Officials said that Simran had no relatives in America nor did he know to speak English. Simran has an international phone, which works only by Wi-Fi. According to the Lindnwold Police, there is no one here, who was able to inform us about Simran’s family in India.
The police is looking for Simran and the people here are also being questioned. According to officials, there is a small mark on the left side of Simran’s forehead. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt, black flip-flop and small diamond-ridden earrings.
Such an incident has happened even before this
This is not the first time an Indian citizen is missing abroad. In March, 20 -year -old Sudiksha Connaki of Pittsburgh went missing during a spring break in the Dominican Republic. On March 6, when she went missing, Punta was holidaying with her friend in Kana. Sudiksha was last seen at 4:15 am.
