A case of dowry harassment and domestic violence has come to light from Agra in Uttar Pradesh. Hina Kausar, who lives here, has filed a report with the police, making serious allegations against her husband and in -laws. The woman alleges that her husband has married three first and came to know this after marriage. The most shocking thing is that according to the woman, her husband also conspired to deal with her and was talking about selling another person.
On the woman’s tahrir, the police have filed a case in sections 498A (dowry harassment), 342 (wrongly hostage), 406 (betrayal property grab), 323 (assault), 506 (threatening) and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Torture for dowry
The victim Hina Kausar was married on 15 February 2019 from Muslim customs from 365 Garhganj, Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, resident of Feroz Khan son Israr Khan. 5 lakh rupees in cash, gold-silver jewelery and household items were given in the wedding. But after marriage, the in -laws’ behavior became tortured.
Fight and threatened to kill
According to the victim’s FIR, husband, brother -in -law and other in -laws started harassing her for dowry. They used to taunt, beat and torture them mentally. The victim said that she was forcibly sent to her maternal home several times and she was not treated even in sick condition. When he protested, he was threatened and said that he would be sold elsewhere.
Talk of three marriages hidden
Hina Kausar has alleged in the FIR that after marriage she came to know that her husband Feroz Khan had done three weddings first. This thing was hidden from him. When he questioned, the husband threatened him and beat him up.
Case filed against eight people
The FIR has a total of eight people including husband Feroz Khan. It includes Iqbal Jeth, Shamshad Jeth, Sartaj, Chanta Jethani, Shakeela, Kamar Jahan Nand and Salima Nandoi. All of them have been accused of mental and physical harassment, dowry demand and domestic violence.
