Sonali died in the Curlies Restaurant-Club in Anjun Beach in Goa on the intervening night of 22-23 August in 2022. Overdose of drugs was considered the cause of death. His family accused Sonali’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and his friend Sukhwinder Singh of murder. The CBI presented a charge sheet against both of them after investigation. However, after 8 months, the accused came out on bail.
The family appealed to dismiss the bail of the accused 2 years ago, but no decision came. The family believes that nothing has happened so far that we feel that something is happening in our favor in the case. The next date in this case is on 3 September in the district court of Goa.

Case of murder filed, Sudhir-Sukhwinder arrested The case of Sonali Phogat’s death became a high profile. Chargesheet presented on 22 November The CBI presented a charge sheet in the court on 22 November 2022 in the Sonali case. This charge sheet also included a 100 -page forensic report. In the medical report, 4 types of chemicals were found in the blood sample of both Sudhir and Sonali. Methmfetamine, Emfatamine Metophyne Corbonile, Ethyl alcohol, Cannabidiol Chemical.
Brain-fired swelling in medical report The medical report filed in the CBI charge sheet, the doctor wrote-“Seribral and pulmonary, edema caused wet swelling to the brain and lungs. Due to which Sonali may die. Due to these medical symptoms, the man stops breathing. He dies due to swelling in the lungs and brain. ”
