New Delhi. England announced their playing XI for the first ODI of the upcoming 3 -match series against India. Captain Jose Butler has made 6 major changes in the team. Butler has brought the legendary Batter Joe Root to the playing XI which was last played in India in 2023. Roots are playing ODIs after 452 days. The first ODI between India and England will be played on 6 February at Vidarbha Cricket Association Cricket Stadium in Nagpur. The England team landed against the West Indies in ODIs last year, six changes have been made.
Joe Root included in Fab Four will be an important player for England in the ODI series. Root is players who know the art of scoring runs under any circumstances. He is currently the best Test batsman. He has no match even in ODIs. He was currently playing for Parl Royals in the SA 20 League. He scored 279 runs at an average of 55.80. The playing XI that England has decided to enter the first ODI will be Ben Docket and Phil Salat as openers. Both the batsmen were also in the opening role in the T20 series. The third number will play the route. Harry Brooke and Liam Livingstone have also found a place in the playing XI. Apart from this, Jacob Bathl was also successful in making it to the playing XI.
