The increase in the number of people claiming to be the parents of the innocent child found in Sirohi has created a problem for the officials and the Child Welfare Committee.
More than 70 parents of a 3-month-old baby found at Pindwara railway station in Sirohi have come forward. They have asserted their rights over the child, but due to lack of solid evidence, the Child Welfare Committee has not accepted anyone’s claim as valid.
,
On the other hand, Railway Police (GRP) has claimed to have traced the real parents of the child. He says that the debt-ridden parents had hatched this plan after watching the Crime Patrol serial.
The parents, who reached GRP police station Abu Road with their family members, claimed that the child was theirs.
no one has any documents
Child Welfare Committee Chairman Ratan Bafna said that many parents of the 3-month-old child found on January 21 at Pindwara Railway Station in Sirohi have come forward.
20 parents have approached the Child Welfare Committee and claimed the child as their own. At the same time, more than 50 couples have reached Pindwara station and claimed the child as their own.
The committee asked them to submit Aadhar card, child’s birth certificate, hospital report and photograph taken with the child (if any), but they could not show anything.
We cannot trust what GRP says: Committee
Bafna told that a couple from Ahmedabad has also come. It is being claimed that they are the parents of the child.
However, the matter became more complicated when the name of the mother and the name of the couple making the claim were different in the letter found with the child. The Child Welfare Committee is investigating the matter.
DNA test can also be done if necessary. From what the GRP says, we cannot believe that this child is theirs.
FIR may be filed for making false claim
A letter has been written to Child Welfare Committee Ahmedabad asking for investigation of this child. Only after the investigation report of the child comes from Ahmedabad, a decision can be taken whether these are the real parents of the child or someone else.
If the claim is false then an FIR can also be lodged against them in this matter. After going through this process, the child will be handed over only on the orders of the court. At present the child is safe under the care of the Child Welfare Committee.
The child was found on January 21 in the waiting room of Pindwara railway station in Sirohi.
Claim to find real parents
GRP police station Abu Road, SHO Manoj Kumar Chauhan said that on January 22, a person was inquiring about the child at Pindwara railway station. After that the person reached Abu Road railway station.
He told his name to be Ishwar Bhai (35), son of Amrit Bhai, resident of Patni, Abhilasha Apartment, Bombay Housing Saraspur, Ahmedabad. When he showed him the photo of the child, he told him to be his son Rudra alias Kitu.
He said that my wife is mentally ill and she accidentally left the child at Pindwara station. When he was asked to call his wife, after some time his wife Sunita Ben (33) and other family members arrived.
The family members presented papers regarding Sunita Ben’s mental illness and treatment. When he was examined in a government hospital, his symptoms were found to be related to mental illness. When the woman was asked about the letter found near the child, she denied having any information.
Parents reached GRP and told this story
When the police did not believe the couple’s story and interrogated them strictly, the child’s father Ishwar Bhai was devastated. He told that I drive an auto rickshaw. I earn 16 to 17 thousand rupees per month.
My monthly EMI is Rs 18 thousand. 30 to 32 thousand rupees are required per month including household expenses and house rent. Started feeling worried due to low income and high expenses. Thought both of them would die because my wife was ill.
Idea came after watching TV serial Crime Patrol
Ishwar told that I watch Crime Patrol on TV, on which an episode came 15-20 days ago, in which the police is misled by writing a letter in the name of Radhika.
I also did the same by copying him. If the child is orphan, anyone will adopt it. After our death, the children will get Rs 18 to 20 lakh from my accident insurance.
This letter was found along with the child found at Pindwara station.
Young man claims- there was a plan to commit suicide
Ishwar told that I wrote a letter in Gujarati. After that he translated it into Hindi and kept it near the child’s clothes without telling his wife. After this, both of them intended to commit suicide in Palanpur, but after boarding the bus, the wife talked to her mother.
She went to Ahmedabad to meet her mother and I wanted to commit suicide after seeing Amba Mata, but at night I started remembering the child. During this time, it was learned from the news that the child was in Pindwara so he reached here. After interrogation, the police granted bail to the husband and wife and sent them along with their family members.
Child was found in the waiting room of Pindwara station
On the evening of January 21, a three-month-old baby was found abandoned in the waiting room of Pindwara railway station. A letter was also found with him, in which it was clearly written that – ‘We had run away from home and got married. It has been 2 years since marriage. Husband died in a car accident.
We lived in a rented house. Some disease has caught me. I can’t raise this child. I will also commit suicide after a few days. Hearing the child’s cry, the GRP personnel took care of the child and handed it over to the Child Welfare Committee.
