New Delhi. In the second Test match against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh is under threat of innings defeat. He has lost 6 wickets for 115 runs in his second innings till the stump on the third day of the second Test. Bangladesh still has to score 96 runs to postpone the innings defeat and it has only 4 wickets left. In such a situation, the possibility of Bangladesh’s innings victory has increased, which needs only 4 wickets to win.

The second Test match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is being played in Colombo. Bangladesh scored 247 runs while batting first in the match. Host Sri Lanka scored 458 runs in response. In this way, he got a lead of 211 runs in the first innings. If Bangladesh wants to avoid the defeat of the innings, then he will have to score at least 211 runs in his second innings. Interestingly, Bangladesh scored a total of 780 runs in the first Test (495 in the first innings and 285 in the second innings). This time he has got a total of 400 runs to score a total of 400 runs.

Bangladesh played his second innings on Friday on the third day of the match. His batter also failed in the second innings. Earlier on Friday, Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nisanka was dismissed for 158 runs. He scored more than 150 runs in the second consecutive Test match. Nisanka and Kusal Mendis (84 runs, 87 balls) helped Sri Lanka to gain an edge by scoring fast. Sri Lanka started playing ahead of 290 runs for two wickets in the morning on the third day. He also batted excellent on the third day and finished his innings for 458 runs. Nisanka, who scored 187 runs in the first Test in Gaul, batted for more than six hours and scored 158 runs in 254 balls with 19 fours. Bangladesh’s left -arm spinner Taizul Islam took five wickets. The first Test was a draw between the two teams.
