On 15 August 2025, the country will celebrate its 79th Independence Day. Not only will the tricolor hoist and the Prime Minister’s address on the ramparts of the Red Fort, but it will also include hundreds of special guests from different parts of the country. In this program to be held at the Red Fort, there will also be a glimpse of Operation Sindoor.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the tricolor for the 12th consecutive time and will address the nation. In this program, 50 excellent sanitation workers of Delhi have been invited along with their families at the Red Fort. They have been selected for outstanding contribution in maintaining cleanliness in the city. The selection process started from the zonal level of the municipal corporation and reached the acceptance of the Ministry of Defense.

14 ‘Lakhpati Didi’ of Uttar Pradesh will also be included

Along with this, 14 ‘Lakhpati Didi’ of Uttar Pradesh and his family members have also been invited to be a part of the ceremony. These women are associated with self -help groups and have become self -sufficient by making products like ghee, pickle, papad, snacks.

At the same time, the village head of the four border areas of Rajasthan, Geeta Kanwar (Jaisalmer), Bharat Ram (Barmer), Shakuntala (Sriganganagar) and Sajna (Bikaner) have been invited under the Vibrant Village Program 2.0. At the same time, he has been made a special guest to the excellent Pandey and his wife Dr. Tulika Pandey from Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh, organic farming and sandalwood-turmeric models and more than 3,000 sandalwood plants and training to other farmers.

Bihar’s young writer Gunjan Shri has also been invited. He is one of the 100 authors selected under the Youth Writers Scheme and is creating literature in Maithili language. Ishwar Naik and his wife Saraswati from Uttara Kannada district are recognized for ‘Chittara’ art. He has been selected for his contribution to Sanjivini Program and Saras Mela.
