A painful accident has occurred in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. During the cleaning of the well in Kondawat village, 8 people drowned. The administration and rescue team have recovered the bodies of all.

According to preliminary information, the accident happened due to poisonous gas, due to which all the people fainted and fell into the well and died. The administration and rescue teams reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported.

According to the report, on April 3 (Thursday), the people of Kondawat village came down to clean the well for the preparation of Gangaur immersion. It is being told that this well was closed for a long time and it was not cleaned. Due to this, silt was accumulated in the well, due to which poisonous gas is being feared.

According to the locals, eight people who landed in the well for cleaning went down one by one, but due to the grip of poisonous gas, everyone fainted and drowned in water. When no one came out for a long time, the villagers made noise and informed the administration.

Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police, administration and disaster emergency response team reached the spot. Rescue work was started with the help of ropes and nets. The eight bodies have been taken out, weeds have been in the village after the accident and the family is in a bad state.
