A heartbreaking incident came to light in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday morning, which shook the entire city. Playing on Runija Road, a three-year-old innocent Ayush was attacked by a herd of stray dogs and killed him.

According to eyewitnesses, at around 10 am, three children were playing outside the house of Kanhaiya Das Bairagi, when a herd of stray dogs came from the front.

Two children somehow escaped, but Ayush was hit by dogs. Dogs seriously injured him. The locals immediately rushed him to the Suvasra Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead.

Ayush was staying with his mother at the house of his maternal uncle Sandeep Bairagi for the last six months. The post -mortem of the child’s body was done by doctor Snehil Jain and then the body was handed over to the family.

There is a lot of anger among the local people after this heartbreaking incident. People said that the number of stray dogs around Ganesh Magra region and around it is increasing rapidly. These dogs often attack cattle and common people. The townspeople have made the city council aware of this serious problem many times, but no concrete steps have been taken so far.

Reacting to the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police Gautam Singh Solanki termed it as unfortunate and said that the city council has been repeatedly alerted by the police and administration. He also appealed to animal lovers that when the city council team goes to catch the dog, do not protest, because vaccination and control is necessary to stop such incidents.
