A unique incident of theft has come to light in Mehbubabad district of Telangana. Unidentified thieves stole a heavy road roller here and sold it in junk. According to the information, Mehboobabad Town Circle Inspector P. Devender said that the matter was complained by a person named Biskam Reddy. Biskam Reddy hails from Adulapuram village in Khammam district. Biskam said in his complaint that he had rented his road roller to some unknown people. These people described themselves as an employee associated with the railway project and claimed that they need a road roller.

For a few days this machine was standing under the Mehboobabad flyover bridge, but when Reddy sent his driver to know the condition of the road, the road roller was found missing from there. After this, the matter was complained to the police. After the complaint was filed, the police started investigation and started investigating CCTV. During the investigation, it was revealed that the thieves had sold this road roller to scrap merchant SK Bade Mian and Sons for 2 lakh 19 thousand.

The police were also surprised to know that such a heavy vehicle was stolen and sold in junk. Now the police is engaged in identifying those who have steal and sold the machine. Police officials say that all CCTV footage in and around Mehboobabad city is being closely investigated, so that the thieves can be detected. The junk merchant is also being questioned as to whom he bought this vehicle and why he had no doubt about it. At present, the police is investigating the role of junk merchant in this case.
