A heartbreaking incident has occurred in Paharganj area of Delhi, the capital of the country. A two -year -old innocent girl died after being hit by a car. The accident happened around 6:15 pm on Sunday evening when the girl was playing on the road.
According to the report of the news agency, the CCTV footage of the accident has surfaced, in which it can be seen that the girl was playing on the road, when a Kali Hyundai venue car came from behind and crushed her.
Seeing the girl coming under the car, people around ran. One person immediately picked up the girl and handed over to another person, after which she was taken to the hospital. But during treatment, the innocent died.
Minor was driving a car, father arrested
During the investigation, it was found that the car that caused this accident was of the girl’s neighbor. At that time, the car was driving a 15 -year -old minor boy, who was the son of the same family. The police have caught the accused minor and the car owner, who is his father, has also been detained.
In this case, the police have registered a case under Section 281 (careless driving) and Section 106 (1) (to cause negligence) of the Indian Penal Code (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita).
The police is engaged in further investigation and it is also seen whether the minor had a driving license while driving. Local people are demanding strict action on driving by minors so that such accidents can be prevented in future.
