Mahakumbh, which lasted for 45 days, also changed the lives of many sailor families. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in the assembly that I am telling the success story of a sailor family here. In a period of 45 days, these people have saved pure Rs 30 crore. That is, 1 boat earned Rs 23 lakh in 45 days. Aaj Tak talked to Pintu Mahara of this family of Prayagraj.
Pintu Mahara says, there are more than 100 people in our family and everyone worked hard. This is no less than a Mahaprasad for us. Thanks to Yogi ji and Modi ji, due to which such a big event took place and we paid special attention to the sailors. We had never seen in life as much as we earned. Pintu says, we have 70 boats themselves, and almost every family had 10-20 boats. Everyone earned well. If the whole village or said, the economic condition of the sailors of the entire Prayagraj became stronger. There would be so much money in imagination.
Amazing result of hard work
Pintu says, the sailors had to work hard day and night to bathe the confluence to the devotees in Mahakumbh. We used to get up at 4 in the morning for 45 days and used to bathe devotees from 5 o’clock. It was our endeavor that every person should have the opportunity to take a dip in the confluence. Seeing the crowd and faith this time, it seemed as if Treta Yug had come back.
‘Mahamahanagar’ made from Allahabad
Pintu says, Mahakumbh changed the nature of Prayagraj. Earlier our Prayagraj was a metropolis, but now it has become a Mahamahanagar. There has been a tremendous improvement in roads, ghats and arrangements. Earlier we did not ask the sailors, but now everyone from the police administration to the government stood in our cooperation.
Happiness in every village
Pintu’s mother says, Mahakumbh has given economic strength to the entire community. Not only Prayagraj, every sailor family has become happy to Manda, Banaras, Mirzapur, Joshi Lavan and Daraganj. We had never seen a million-two lakh rupees with our eyes, but now it is not so. Children are happy, family is happy, poverty has gone away.
