The Aam Aadmi Party has completely separated itself from the India block. This status update is completely different from circumstances like update, Delhi assembly elections. During the Delhi elections, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi were seen face to face in front of the election. The basic difference is clear then and now.
Then AAP and Congress were contesting against each other, but Arvind Kejriwal had support from two political parties of India block. Akhilesh Yadav provided support for Samajwadi Party, and Mamata Banerjee of Trinamool Congress. Akhilesh Yadav even sought votes in Delhi for Arvind Kejriwal against the Congress.
This discussion started only that the existence of India block will end after the Delhi elections. Seeing the readiness of Rahul Gandhi about Bihar, it was also felt for a few days, but then on behalf of both RJD and Congress, it was told in front of the media that Bihar will fight together both.
And, in the meantime it is also known that the Aam Aadmi Party is also going to contest Bihar elections. And that too in all 243 assembly seats of Bihar. Now if this happens, then you have to fight alone. And, this election regional leaders will have to contest on their own. The Aam Aadmi Party has divided states into two categories to contest assembly elections across the country. Bihar is in the category where Arvind Kejriwal will not go to the campaign. Just a similar indication has been received.
New initiative to create a third front of opposition parties
In an interview with the Indian Express, Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi has said, now it is necessary that the opposition parties start thinking about the third front. Atishi has claimed the Congress to be an unannounced alliance with the BJP, and the same claim has been made by Arvind Kejriwal about the by -election in Ludhiana West seat.
Former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi says that leaders of non-Congress opposition parties are facing some kind of harassment, but this is not the case with the Congress. Atishi says that the BJP government at the Center is harassing the leaders of other opposition parties, but Congress leaders are being spared.
The question that Arvind Kejriwal was raising during the Delhi Assembly elections, Atishi is repeating it, and asks, why don’t the Congress leaders go to jail? During the Delhi Assembly elections, Arvind Kejriwal had said, ‘Modi ji also puts a fake case like liquor scam and puts people in jail… Why you and your family have not been arrested in open and shut cases like National Herald? How did Robert Vadra get a clean chit from BJP?
AAP separate from India block
The matter of India block, then the Aam Aadmi Party is now completely separated. There was a recent meeting in Delhi to demand a special session of Parliament to be called. The special thing is that Samajwadi Party and TMC leaders who supported Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi elections also attended the meeting, but the Aam Aadmi Party made distance. A joint letter has been sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the special session, which has been signed by 16 leaders – and not joining it, the Aam Aadmi Party has made a formal announcement of separation from the India alliance.
The Aam Aadmi Party says that she will write a separate letter to Prime Minister Modi in which a special session of Parliament will be demanded to discuss the situation after Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor. Meaning, the demand of the mango Adam Party will remain the same, which is from India block, but it will not be together. This stand of Arvind Kejriwal has also been seen earlier. Despite the Congress being kept away from the opposition camp in the President and Vice Presidential elections, the Aam Aadmi Party voted for the candidates of the opposition.
However, it is not so much now. AAP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Atishi has demanded a third front of opposition parties in the country – a front which is against the BJP, but there should not be Congress in it.
Even before the general elections, the third front has been exercising, but before the election date, the efforts of the front have been collapsing. Before the general election, former Telangana Chief Minister K.K. Chandrashekhar Rao was also doing, but repeated history.
The big question is whether the third front can be beneficial for AAP. It can happen in Punjab, but the way Arvind Kejriwal at the national level goes to Rajya Sabha and will do political, it does not seem possible – and the question is whether it will be successful in Delhi.
The benefit of the third front in Delhi was available
Recently, there was news that the Aam Aadmi Party has prepared a roadmap for the assembly elections to be held in the next two years. Obviously, Arvind is the most special Punjab election for Kejriwal’s party, where the party is in power. Also, Arvind Kejriwal is also preparing for the Gujarat elections – and the most important is Delhi, but it is still five years in it.
Now if Arvind Kejriwal is preparing for national politics, then the third front can be beneficial. It is also said that after winning the Ludhiana West by -election, Sanjeev Arora will leave his seat of Rajya Sabha, and Arvind Kejriwal will reach Parliament by that quota – but this plan depends on the result of the by -election at the moment.
If Atishi has taken the initiative of the third front in view of the Punjab elections, then it is fine. Because the Aam Aadmi Party’s direct fight in Punjab is with the Congress, the BJP has not been strong in Punjab. To say, Arvind Kejriwal is also accusing the BJP and the Congress of being met. Arvind Kejriwal, while replying to the post of his party spokesperson Neil Garg, wrote, ‘BJP announced the Congress to support the Punjab by-election?’
While sharing the video of BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Neil Garg has written on the social site X, no longer there is any scope of suspicion … Congress and BJP are rocks of the same plate. Both have a model of politics – fool the public, distribute the chair. When the Congress weakens, the BJP is strong and when the BJP gets angry, the Congress is put forward.
The political equations of Delhi are different from Punjab. Like BJP is weak in Punjab, Congress is weak in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal’s fight in Delhi is with BJP, but the Aam Aadmi Party believes that due to the Congress, Arvind Kejriwal had to lose Delhi power – then is the validity to demand the third front only till the Punjab elections?
