The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab is completing 3 years on 16 March. In 2022, AAP won 92 out of 117 seats in the state. After which Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as the first Chief Minister of AAP in Punjab.

At the time of elections, AAP gave many guarantees to Punjabis. In addition to eliminating free electricity, jobs, corruption and intoxication, there were claims to improve education and health. However, among all this, the biggest issue was to give 1000 rupees per month to every woman than 18 years of age.
3 years have passed and only 2 years remained but the AAP government could not start it. Its major impact showed in the Lok Sabha elections. When AAP could win only 3 seats out of 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab.
Talking about the figures, there are more than 1 crore women voters. Which comes within a radius of one thousand rupees a month. If the government had given them money in 3 years, he would have got about 36 thousand crore rupees. However, the government saved such an amount due to non -fulfillment of the guarantee.
Meanwhile, on completion of 3 years of the government today, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and CM Bhagwant Mann will reach Amritsar. Here he will bow to Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple and Ramatirtha.
What was Arvind Kejriwal’s guarantee Arvind Kejriwal gave 10 guarantees in the 2022 assembly elections in Punjab. The first guarantee among them was that every woman above 18 years will get ₹ 1000 every month. Kejriwal described this guarantee as the country’s largest women’s empowerment program.
Kejriwal told what formula to complete Before the election, when Kejriwal was asked, where will 12 thousand crore rupees come every year to give women. Will stop corruption and the government will earn 20 thousand crores from it. With this, women will be given one thousand rupees every month.
Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia said that the government had earlier claimed that there would be an income of Rs 20,000 crore from sand and gravel trade, which would benefit the government treasury, but the ground reality is the opposite. The mining mafia pockets are filling.

Your 10 guarantees
AAP had given several guarantees before the 2022 assembly elections in Punjab, called “Kejriwal’s guarantee”. The following were the major guarantee of these-
1. ₹ 1000 per month for women
- Every woman above 18 years was promised to give ₹ 1000 per month.
- This guarantee was described as “the country’s largest women’s empowerment program”.
Current status: Women are waiting for this guarantee to be completed till date.
2. 300 units free electricity
- Every family was promised to provide free electricity up to 300 units every month.
- It was also said to waive the old electricity bill.
After coming to power, the government fulfilled this promise.
3. 24 hours free electricity
- It was promised to provide 24 -hour power in the state without any cuts.
Even though up to 300 units of free electricity is provided in Punjab, 24 hours electricity has not been completed yet.
4. Improvement in government schools
- It was promised to improve government schools in Punjab on the lines of Delhi model.
- It was said to make government schools better than private schools.
The government built the School of Eminence. Many such steps are taken, which is considered to be an improvement in the field of education.
5. Free treatment and mohalla clinic
- The state was guaranteed to open the Mohalla clinic and improve government hospitals.
- Medicines, tests and treatment were said to be free.
The Punjab government has constructed around 870 Mohalla Clinics in the state.
6. Employment to youth
- It was promised to provide 10 lakh government jobs.
- Under the Employment Guarantee Mission, it was said to give a job in every household.
The Punjab government has so far given about 51665 jobs.
7. Corruption -free administration
- To eliminate corruption, it was said to issue helpline numbers and take strict action against the corrupt.
The Vigilance Department is much more active than before. The Punjab government has also suffered opposition from its own employees against this action.
8. Farmer loan waiver and MSP guaranteed
- It was said to waive the debt of farmers and ensure MSP (minimum support price) for crops.
The promise of loan waiver of farmers and MSP guarantee Kanu is such promises, about which farmers have been standing on Shambhu and Khinori border for more than one year.
9. Facilities for traders
- Traders and industrialists were guaranteed to give better environment and reduce government intervention.
Merchants were made promises such as single window facilities, which have not yet been fulfilled.
10. Drug -free Punjab
- Punjab was guaranteed to make Punjab drugs free and strict action on the drug mafia.
After the Delhi elections, the government in Punjab is seen active against drug addiction for the past few months. The sub-committee has also been constructed and it has been promised that drugs will be eliminated in the coming time and these efforts will continue till then.
Today Arvind Kejriwal in Amritsar
Arvind Kejriwal reached Amritsar on the previous day after staying in Vipassana for 10 days. Here he reached the house of former Inderbir Singh Nijjar, who was former minister. Today, Kejriwal is also going to meet with the MLAs of Punjab.
Not only this, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is also reaching Amritsar. Today, Arvind Kejriwal with CM will bow to the Golden Temple to seek the blessings of the gurus after running the government for three years in the state. Apart from this, they will also reach Amritsar Durgiana Temple and Sri Ramatirtha. On Monday, Arvind Kejriwal is reaching Ludhiana, where he will take out a rally.
