The controversy related to ‘I Love Mohammed’ in Uttar Pradesh has taken a sensitive turn. After Kanpur and Bareilly, now this fire has reached a private school in Sitapur. This incident took place at Amar Bapu Shiksha Niketan School in Sadarpur area. The school is alleged to have forced small Hindu children to write ‘I Love Mohammed’ on the pretext of art competition.

When the children returned home and told their parents about the incident, the matter came to light and tension spread in the area. At present, the Sitapur police has taken action and arrested school director Shaukat Ansari and a teacher. The search for another accused is going on.

‘I love Mohammed’ wrote children

While talking to ‘Aaj Tak’, the children heard their tragedy. He told that his teacher had given him homework to write ‘I Love Mohammed’ and threatened that he who does not write would be punished. Due to this fear, all the children completed this homework. According to the children, the teacher also told them that “Allah and God are all the same, there is no difference.” Parents are angry with this incident and they are accusing the school of hurting religious sentiments.

In view of the seriousness of the case, the police immediately took action. A police team is stationed outside the school so that any untoward incident can be stopped. Police said that two people have been arrested and an absconding accused is being raided. Since the matter is very sensitivity, the police is conducting further investigation so that the truth can be ascertained.
