Police have registered a case against the IPL team RCB in the stampede case on Wednesday at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. FIR has been registered against Royal Challengers Bangalore, event company DNA Network and Karnataka State Cricket Association at Kabban Park Police Station.
The police have registered the FIR under Section 105 of the Indian Justice Code (crime like killing not even after killing), Section 125 (12) (to endanger the life or personal security of others), Section 142 (illegal gathering), section 121 (role instigated in crime) and section 190 (Responsibility for crimes committed by members of illegal gathering).
Complaint against CM and RCB players also
At the same time, an advocate Nataraja Sharma has also lodged a police complaint against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar, KSCA officials and RCB players in this case. He alleged that all of them took serious negligence in organizing and mob management of the program, which led to this tragedy.
11 people killed in stampede, many injured

Thousands of RCB fans reached the Chinnaswamy Stadium to cheer their team and get a glimpse of the winning players. During this time, the huge crowd stood on the temporary slab put on a drain. It is being told that the slab could not withstand the burden of the people and suddenly broke, which caused a stampede. Eyewitnesses said that many people fell down with the broken slab and crushed into the crowd.
