The municipal corporation, police and administration’s action will be taken on 8 February to remove about 110 shops in Subhash Nagar Market of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday, the police and administration reached the spot and asked people to remove the shop voluntarily. After this, the shopkeepers were seen removing the goods from this morning.

Due to lack of police force for 4 days, bulldozers were not able to run at the shops. The district administration, municipal corporation and railway had earlier issued a notice to vacate the township by 4 February. After which the people living in the township have been afraid of being homeless.

However, in view of the demands and examinations of the residents, the removal of the settlement has been stopped by 2 months, but the removal of the shops has not been banned and hence the shops will start breaking on Saturday.

In fact, action is to be taken to remove Subhash Nagar Market for the construction of the third leg of Subhash Nagar ROB in Bhopal and Moti Nagar Basti for laying the fourth railway line.
