The Consulat General of India in San Francisco, USA, has issued advisory for Indian citizens living in the western coastal states of California and Indian citizens. On behalf of the Indian Embassy of India, it has been said that we are monitoring the danger of a possible tsunami after a recent 8.7 magnitude earthquake in Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula.
News agency ANI wrote on the social media platform X on Wednesday (July 30, 2025), while re-posting a post of India in Francesko and wrote that Indian citizens living in western coastal states of America are advised to take several steps in view of the danger of earthquake and tsunami.
