What will happen in the update tab?

What will happen to privacy?
Whatsapp says that these updates have been released keeping in mind the privacy of users. WhatsApp users’ messages, chats, calls, group chats will still be end-to-end encrypted. Ads will be targeted only using limited data. That is, they will use less data.

If you have linked your WhatsApp account to the meta account center, then your ad will be shared with other apps of preference and information meta. Your phone number will not be shared with advertiser. Also, no ad will be seen in private chats.
How long will Ads be seen?
Meta will globally and roll these features. These features will be for both iOS and Android platforms. However, the fixed date for their launch has not been stated, but they will be released in the next few months.
